Description
Commonly known as Coast Bonefruit, Threlkeldia diffusa grows naturally on the coast in pure sand or limestone. It generally forms a ground-covering prostrate mat that can help to suppress weeds, but is also a fantastic soil binder for embankments. The flowers are almost indiscernible and followed by tiny black or red fruits in late spring to early summer.
